The song is Goofy’s Concern from Independent Worm Saloon. I remember getting really pumped up about Mortal Kombat 2 when these commercials came on back in 1994. MKII came out for the SNES on September 9 of that year, the day before my birthday. Hell yeah. There were a lot of great games out that year: Super Street Fighter II, Super Metroid, Donkey Kong Country, NBA Jam…. Yeah, I didn’t get out much.
