Here’s an oldie, one of my original designs for Dr. Badvibes for the C.O.P.S. animated TV show in 1988. I’ve recolored it for this gallery.
Badvibes didn’t look this good on TV unfortunately, the Character Supervisor at the time didn’t know what to make of my designs and changed them quite radically. The Supervisor took the only upshot in all of my designs and used it as the final model, so Badvibes had his nose permanently turned up. Grrr.
I was doing all of the designs for C.O.P.S. from Australia and as the show never aired here I couldn’t see how the shows turned out.
Peter Chung (Aeon Flux) was also designing for this show, we met upon my second visit to Los Angeles.
