There are four known Battlestar Galactica paintings by Frank Franetta, painted at the time of the original 1978 TV series. The most famous two, used for covers of the novelisations, are those of Lost Planet of the Gods and Gun on Ice Planet Zero. However, the former episode also has a second painting, focusing on Adama, Apollo and Serina entering a tomb on Kobol. The fourth painting is depicts a scene from War of the Gods.
