Many of my friends are friends with Weird Al Yankovic, and they all love him, but I have never had the pleasure of meeting the man. The other day, out of the blue, he sent me a message asking for my address so he could send me a holiday greeting. Needless to say, I was honored and touched. I just received it. and I hope it’s okay for me to post this, but I just think that especially right now, with so much unfathomably awful things at the forefront of our minds, it’s important to remember that there are pure sources of light and fun and happiness like Weird Al Yankovic. Joy to the world, indeed!
