18 years after The Monster Squad closed limbo and rid the world of monsters, Horace has continued to investigate the paranormal. His travels lead him to Amityville, where another doorway into the unknown has opened. An ancient book is thrown from the vortex into Horace’s hands with a power hungry force of evil following in its wake.

Horace reforms the squad to confront the new set of monsters that are unleashed. The Springwood Slasher himself, Freddy Krueger, forges an alliance with Jason Voorhees, Michael Myers, the soul of Charles Lee Ray (Chucky), and awakens the evil of the Deadites with the power of the Necronomicon.

The Monster Squad forms its own army of allies to battle the evil forces threatening mankind and to seal the portal of evil once and for all.
