MST3K Returns in Arrested Development Season 4

Joel Hodgson and Trace Beaulieu made a guest appearance as their old Mystery Science Theater 3000 alter egos in season 4 of Arrested Development now streaming on Netflix.

In the above screenshot you can see the familiar silhouettes of Tom Servo, Joel Robinson and Crow T. Robot in a clip specially created for the show. The reunion has them briefly riffing on a fake low budget Fantastic Four movie starring Maria Bamford’s character, DeBrie Bardeaux, as Sue Storm aka Invisible Girl. This sequence is featured in episode 5, A New Start. They also show up again in episode 9, Smashed.

The movie spoof is based on the real 1994 version of The Fantastic Four produced by Roger Corman. Here’s the trailer:
