Tokyo Ghostbusters, a parody by Nacho Punch, shows us what Ghostbusters would have looked like if it was an anime in the 1980s. The Tokyo Ghostbusters run around hunting all sorts of anime inspired monsters including a giant Doraemon in place of the Stay Puft Marshmallow Man. I ain’t afraid of no yokai!

The character design looks very reminiscent of the 1988 anime Dominion: Tank Police based on the manga by Masamune Shirow. Winston Zeddemore is even wearing Buaku’s goggles!
You can watch the Dominion: Tank Police intro below as a comparison. You should probably just watch it anyway because it rules. Seriously, this is one of my favorite anime theme songs of all time.
