Halloween (2018), directed by David Gordon Green and written by Green and Danny McBride, picks up forty years after the events of the original film while disregarding the previous sequels. John Carpenter serves as an executive producer and creative consultant.

The new Halloween film comes out Oct. 19, 2018.
