An epic showdown between McDonald’s and KFC.
Not sure who the original artist is.

Avatar-Wars by Dave Filoni
When I left Avatar the Last Airbender I gave every member of the crew this image of the main cast as Star Wars Characters. Working on Avatar was one of the greatest experiences of my career and I have never printed a copy of it since I gave it to the crew of Season 1. I drew the image on paper and then had it scanned in. The color was done by my then assistant director Justin Ridge, who later came up and worked with me on Clone Wars.
I hope you enjoy the images, thanks
Dave
Dave Filoni worked as a storyboard artist and character designer for Avatar: The Last Airbender. He then went on to direct the Star Wars: The Clone Wars movie and is supervising director for the Clone Wars TV series.
The President’s Daughter has been kidnapped by the brilliant super-criminal Blood Mamba. All rescue attempts have been thwarted by the evil genius. There’s only one thing left to do: send in the Robot. The Robot must fight zombie-monsters and insecurity in order to complete his suicidal mission.
Robot Bastard! (2002) is a short film by Rob Schrab whose credits include Scud: The Disposable Assassin, Monster House, Heat Vision and Jack, Channel 101, The Sarah Silverman Program, Childrens Hospital, Community, and Parks and Recreation.
Imagine a badass cousin of Conky from Pee-wee’s Playhouse fighting the Putty Patrol from Power Rangers… IN SPACE. It has a great visual style and the action sequences are fun and creative. It’s only about 15 minutes so you should just watch it if you haven’t already.
Download the film and tons of extras from the official website.
Rob Schrab also does a live found footage show with Community’s Dan Harmon called Found Crap. I got to see this in person at Everything is Festival 2010 at the Cinefamily in LA. They showed some great stuff that I haven’t been able to find anywhere else. Definitely worth checking out if you have the opportunity.

Mashup of Steve Martin with the Scumbag Steve meme by David MacDowell.
It’s also referencing one of my favorite movies of all time, The Jerk.
Fun Fact: I’ve actually met Lindsey Stirling before. The band I work for, J Roddy Walston and The Business, played a show with her in Salt Lake City, Utah a while back. She seemed really nice.
Terrahawks was a British science fiction television series by Gerry Anderson and Christopher Burr. Like Thunderbirds it was produced using puppets. The character of Kate Kestrel was a fighter pilot and internationally famous pop singer. She was voiced by Anne Ridler when speaking; Moya Griffiths provided her singing voice.
Here’s a Terrahawks clip where Kate Kestrel performs S.O.S in the Solar System Song Contest. She’s competing against Zelda & The Musoids who perform some sort of funk-rap song.
